Upcoming movie inspired by early Rolling Stones visit to U.S.

The soundtrack to the upcoming movie Not Fade Away features The Rolling Stones, who inspired the story, along with The Moody BluesLeft BankeBo Diddley, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison and The Rascals.

David Chase's filmmaking debut centers three best friends in 1964 who decide to form a band after seeing the Stones on TV. Steve Van Zandt, the rocker-actor who played Silvio in The Sopranos, produced the soundtrack, and serves as the film's executive producer. Another cast member of Chase's classic series is in the cast, James Gandolfini, plays the father of one of the boys.

The soundtrack goes on sale December 18th. Not Fade Away goes into limited release three days later.
